I don’t mention anything about motobility, until I am ready to buy, it’s not obvious that I could be a motobility customer, sometimes it may help to mention it, to get an extended test drive. The only time i go in on motobility, is when the dealer has a special offer on, like when Marshall’s, who were paying the AP, or when Volvo were promoting the xc40, and had cars outside, decorated with the motobility sign. As a general rule, say nothing. Most dealers have some sort of live chat, but unless you get a name, phoning is a waste of time, i would only phone now, to find out if there are any restrictions on visiting, some dealers were only open on appointment, although It seems most have relaxed the virus precautions, maybe not in high risk areas, but in the south east, you can go in, but the cars are locked. I guess it’s a moral issue now, but if you are not interested in the model, but fancy sitting in a high end car, do you get them to break the seal, because that’s was half the fun, playing in the cars in the showroom when viewing.
