Have to agree and for myself had I thought about it a bit more when I first became disabled back in 08 I think using a bank loan paid off with DLA/PIP would have been a better option but had I did that that car would be 12 years old now with about 70,000 miles on the clock so likely to become more unreliable and costly services.
Not only that it took me 4 Motability cars to find a car that suits me down to the ground with my current car being 90% suitable and hopefully my next car next year being 100% suitable (yes I’m a slow learner ?)and one I hope to hold onto for 5 years and by 2026 I might have to retire from driving, that, or be retired from this planet.?
