… waves…
I’ve done 3104 miles so far in the e2008 GT
It’s a lovely car to drive
It’s developing electrical faults as all french cars do, but they may have been resolved by cleaning the dead flies off the camera so the active cruise works again.
Nothing has fallen off…. yet
There are some potential faults that are emerging on early examples of this model (e208, e2008, plus the Opel/DS types) to do with the charging side of things, there’s an immediate fix to get you going again, and there’s a longer term fix involving replacement of the onboard charger. So if you get charging errors on CCS where the negotiations fail, pop the bonnet, clip the +ve battery terminal off (very very easy on a Pug as it’s just a clip) wait a few seconds then put it back on, try charging again and it will charge.
Current price of the e2008 GT at £2899 on the scheme, so if you can afford the extra and the smaller boot will work for you, consider the Kia eSoul £3049, which has more range & has proven electrics.
