The technology for scooters/powerchairs to be smaller/lighter/better batteries(lithium etc) has been around for years but they still make the large heavy things with lead acid heavy batteries as this costs nothing in the form of R & D and they know the disabled will still buy them as we can’t do without, same reason they charge 20 times what it costs them to make one, utter rip off!
