I also faced the same problem when our close friends think that we are lucky to get a new car on Motability but they don’t know the hardship we face/facing due to the disability. My wife is registered blind at the age of 35 and our life is no way near to the normal person/family’s. I am surprised why people jealous or moan if someone gets the benefit which they need.
I would surrender the car, my life time saving and anything else I have, if in return my wife can see as a normal person.
