Another update…
I am happy to say that Joe from BP Chargemaster arrived this morning at around 7:45am and successfully installed my charger.
He installed a earth rod in to the ground below the charger under the black box, and added a switch and a couple of black boxes (highlighted in yellow) in my meter box.
I have to say this is a HUGE relief to finally have it installed.
I think BP Chargemaster in general are a decent company with good customer service, as FordMax had a fairly decent timeframe for having the charger installed.
I on the other hand had serious difficulties getting in touch with my application handler, who was always on the phone, never replied to emails and very rarely called me back. FordMax had the charger installed 3 weeks before me, and had first communications with BP Chargemaster 1 week before me, so i see that as having 2 weeks wasted trying to get in contact with my handler.
Anyway, on another positive note, I will call Renault tomorrow morning to arrange handover of my new car. The car is there waiting for me, so hopefully I can go to collect soon.
