Yeah, the one I have now has 3 distance levels but even the closest is no where near close enough and there is no way to turn it off and revert to normal CC, if you don’t keep overriding with the throttle it leaves too large a gap and you end up going backwards getting slower and slower, it’s getting to the point where I’m considering returning the car as I can’t keep my foot on the gas all the time.
If it’s a Toyota – press the button on the end of the stalk (when activating ACC) quickly & the car will switch to ACC at 5 mph intervals and with distance markers. Hold the same button for 2 seconds or more however & this will turn on normal cruise control with 1 mph increments but no distance markers.
