I now live in the Worthing area of West Sussex and we have none of the London access probs. Quite the opposite. In Worthing itself roads normally open only to buses and cabs can be used by disabled to get to blue badge parking slots closer to shops. Brighton, however, is a different matter. Lots of closed roads usable only by cyclists; there might be some access for disabled but driving in the town, sorry, city, is such a nightmare with one-way systems, weird road signs and markings, that I simply do not go there.

Cyclists just as bad here; ignore lights, wrong way along one-way streets; riding three or four abreast. If I encounter a mob of the latter, I’ll divert on to a different route! Worse since pandemic – non-cyclists getting on bikes with no idea how to cycle safely.
