I think we have to be careful blaming Motability when a car goes or when only the 1.0 variant is on. It could easily be the manufacturer at fault too. Imagine if that’s the model not selling & they have a pile of them so they pull all the other models & just sell the ones they want shot of. Motability have their faults but I suspect manufacturers are manipulating things for their own ends too
They will certainly be doing that – they sell Motability cars at lower profit margins so will only sell what they want to shift quicker. If it is a model that sells well then is less incentive to provide it on Motability.
