T j yes there are various schemes like thar run by the council around here but none that can take you anywhere you want. They have set destinations like the town centre, library etc places I avoid if I can.
So it’s not ideal nor is it a replacement for having your own car.
Also when we go anywhere the dog comes too, life is complicated with two disabled people and me now not driving when you were used to the freedom it brings creates will take some getting used to.
Daniel even when I could drive I had named drivers that’s the only way we can use the car.
I read on the motability web site a large number of disabled people who don’t drive still use the scheme, just not many who come on here it would seem.
