It’s like a company only employing drivers who are all over 25 years of age as they get cheaper insurance, is that discrimination against younger drivers under 25 who cannot get the job, i do get it but at the end of the day. There are certain limits in place in life. some are restricted by how much you can afford, some by age like cars for under 25’s are woeful on the scheme, but at the end of the day it is what it is.. It’s why most car sales people are over 25 as well..

my 1st car was a 1.6 honda accord was about 79 bhp and my insurance 3rd party was over a grand 30 years ago as i lived in central london and had no off street parking and was self employed running my own market stall.

The t&c’s you either except them to be part of the scheme or you don’t.

If one can buy an rs6 then really do you need to be on the scheme.. Only if you wanna be.. As you say comfort and stuff is more important than back breaking over every bump for me as well.. times change and so does life.  Plus the roads are getting slower and slower more and more cameras more 20 mph zones etc so unless you offroad racing then imo there no point buying a 700 bhp car in the uk imo.. plus now that they putting particle filters on petrol cars and the exhausts noise sounds are reduced. The world is getting boring. We can all dream but it is just that a dream, those cars are never being on the scheme. I’m just being practical about it.. regardless of my own personal view or yours it’s not gonna happen.
