    You’re right. I also spoke to the Motability consultant in the only other dealership within 30 miles today who confirmed my suspicions that it was at the dealership’s discretion & nothing to do with Volvo. So I asked him what he could offer for me to go ahead & he said, “why would we discount such a popular car? It’s not available until November so it’s not as if we’re trying to get rid of existing stock….no dealership in the UK will be offering anything”.
    When I told him that wasn’t the case, he said I must be mistaken. No point flogging a dead horse with that one.

    I do intend to contact Volvo by live chat tomorrow.
