Gorgeous this morning. Drove down to Portsmouth to deliver niece’s birthday card and pressies. Up and over to Emsworth, then back to Hayling Island, where the car park was packed (though the breach wasn’t) and where, for no readily apparent reason, the three Disabled Parking Bays were closed off, along with the adjacent benches. Those 3 Disabled Bays are the only ones on hard standing – the rest is pothole-riddled gravel. Since I couldn’t get out and there was nowhere to sit if I had, I didn’t stay.
