Alot of your issues arnt actual issues, you just need to get used to the digital cockpit and how it works, I got the seat leon with digital cockpit which is exactly the same and the mpg you can change between 3 modes, instant, since start and average, to show your mileage just flick the cruise control to off and it will show the mileage in its place, best bet is to when you for some time just sit in the car and have a play with the digital cockpit settings
