Well the PHEV is working for us we have been on holiday so our monthly mileage is a bit high for us.

To date we have travelled 613 mile and used £5.15 in electric and £33.41 in petrol, which averages out @ 90.8 mpg + the electric, if I make an adjustment for the cost of electric a petrol car  would need to achieve 73.94 mpg. Our Ford Kuga @ 40 mpg would have cost us £80.15, so the PHEV has already saved us £41.59 compared to the diesel Ford Kuga

We have also been away on holiday towing a caravan an 360 miles and averaged 27 mpg which is virtually the same as our Ford Kuga diesel powershift which cost £68.02, so no saving there.

So in one month we a financially £40 + better off

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
