Understand but I do feel that people are blinkered to obvious benefits of an EV by playing usual what I’ve got is much better when actually it isn’t……yes lots of places don’t have charging spots but actually there are more public charging spots in the UK for Evs than there are petrol stations.
Rapid chargers can give me 150miles in 40mins should I need it. I live in the Lake District an area renowned for not having a lot of anything and there are 8 rapid chargers within 8miles of my house none of which I have ever used.
After that there are charging stations at a lot of supermarkets many of which are free to use.
Just thinking out loud you could actually the fuel savings could let you hire a car for your 180 mile trip and give you some holidays aswell…..or with a little planning stop for 30mins enroute and on the return and you will have it covered….
