When all said and done, if you’re after peace of mind then it’s got to be Motability.
Forget cost for a minute because everyone’s circumstances are different. Even location will play a part as insurance can vary wildly.
I’m sure many have had the same thought as you at some point but as Phil says, almost all here are on the scheme.
Yes you can buy a nice car if you can get the cash together or are able to get a loan but the unknown regarding breakdowns and depreciation put most off.
I’ve had some beautiful cars over the years that were out of warranty and every single one has let me down. One in particular that went bang in a big way.
So, for me, Motability is disability sliced bread, or the best thing since….!
