Wow. This is surely going to affect their sales until they go full on electric. There must be a huge percentage of buyers for whom mpg is a big factor. Volvo’s in any guise are not the best at mpg so if they’ve dunked diesel out of their line-up, it’s going to shove many purchases elsewhere.
@Brydo another wow, that dealer must have one of the first B4’s.
I’ve had a response from my dealer today regarding the omissions of the details on the XC40 and he advised that:
– Only the Inscription has had the twin exhausts removed. (I should say that the configurator also shows the R Design without them)
– The embossing on leather, kick plates and C Pillar are still there. (I’m not sure about this as I’ve seen a pic of an MY21 and it hasn’t got it)
– Close and lock buttons on the tailgate are still there.
I guess it’ll be a bit of uncertainty until mine arrives! ?
If anyone gets an Inscription Pro or R Design soon, I’d be very keen to see pics.
