I would suggest the reason we are not all driving the old invalid cars is because some brave individuals did question the status quo. No one is advocating spending huge amounts more by giving more EV choices.
There is no doubt that if we are to have a future we need to favour non polluting vehicles. The people on this forum either are or represent some of the most vulnerable people in society. If for no other reason we should try our best to divert money from polluting to less polluting technology while we still have time.
As I said I’m with TheSUVGuy on this. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
