As for the ‘who cares if the daily fail batters us’, I‘ve had 53 years of fighting more than anyone should ever have to to survive in the ‘able’ world, being pointed at, made fun of, attempted to be bullied (as a child and adult), passed over in work situations, etc whilst all the while battling worsening pain and mobility issues that my ‘fight‘ has finally gone. I just want to sink into the background with my amazing family around me.
Something happened last week that may go some way to provide an answer to my condition, which as yet still remains elusive even after genetic testing. As such I compiled my story to provide to a contact who may be able to help and as my daughter got wind of this, we thought now is a good time to let her and our son have the full picture.
I’m sorry to say it absolutely broke their hearts and we had a couple of heavy days at home because of it. This just added to my feeling of ‘I’m done, there’s nothing left in the tank’ as it does make me realise how hard I’ve had to battle.
I’m really proud of what I’ve done. I’ve battled really hard, as we all do here, and earned many, many £? for the company I worked for that has secured many jobs…….
