Cool here, and just starting to brighten up a bit. Though it might rain this afternoon.
All a bit quiet on the bird front. Not so much as a bathing pigeon, though I can here a blackbird singing, which means there are at least a couple around talking to each other.
The ants seem to have reconsidered ‘swarming’ on the grounds that the resident blackbirds spent a couple of hours yesterday evening scoffing all the ants they could catch. Probably not a large proportion of the overall ant population, but possibly somewhat dissuading!
