Thanks, Tharg. Something called the Long Furlough definitely sounds like the cut of my proverbial jib. I usually don’t go further east than Arundel, because it’s a nice turning point from the A27 back north to Petworth, where I join my other favourite road, the A272 to Petersfield.
By the way, everyone knows I’m a newish driver and I didn’t mean to imply that I was trying to teach you how to drive(!), it’s just that I would have felt responsible when you posted from Hossie saying “Well you could have warned me about that junction!”
