Think carefully about rural, done it, loved it, but so restricting after working life in London suburbs.
We have found smallish seaside south coast town ideal. Everything( shops, library,banks,GP,park,seafront,post office,town hall) all within 5 minutes walk. District hospital 15 min drive.
The lockdown has been less restricting for us with wonderful early scoots along the front and therefore contact with others.
