Unfortunately not, my written off Skoda was a private PCP lease I had to take out when I lost my mobility component moving from DLA to PIP. Got my award back at the end of last year was going back onto the scheme when my PCP lease ended. At the moment (due to my local VW dealer lying to me) I have no order placed with Motability and will have to wait until July 1st to place a new one.
The dealer I ordered with back in February (JCT600 in Wakefield) have said that even though the order was taken off Motability’s system the car I ordered is still mine if I want it when it finally arrives. Hopefully that won’t be too long! but if not I can sort out an Ateca within a couple of weeks after July 1st (depending on Q3 price changes etc.)
It’s just frustrating as Hell but will be sorted out sooner or later 🙂
I’m still quite amazed I wasn’t killed or more seriously injured in the accident!, having about 3 tons of loaded Transit van smashing into you at 35-40mph and not even braking when it hit (as the driver had jumped out!) is not something I ever want to repeat!!.
