If you think of your question another way. If costs remain as is, with Motability aside, then a complete segment of the automobile sector will disappear. By this I mean lower cost cars.
It’s reported regularly that scientists, engineers, manufacturers, etc are working furiously to evolve the technology and reduce costs. As all of this happens I’m sure that Motability will adjust itself to continue to offer vehicles to suit everyone.
