I wish I’d made the move to an EV years ago! I’m saving a lot of cash, especially with free charging at some supermarkets. It’s great to avoid having to go to the petrol stations too! In the cold weather it’s wonderful to be able to pre-heat the car so it’s nice and warm getting in and fully defrosted. No more scraping the windows, yeay!
I love the driving experience too. The DS3 is extremely quiet, relaxed and comfortable to drive. My driving has changed to suit and I’m generally a lot less stressed driving nowadays. Most of my mileage is local but with regular 100 mile or so trips too. There’s no range anxiety with this profile! I haven’t had to do any longer trips as yet but proper route planning means that it shouldn’t be an issue. There are more and more 50kW plus chargers appearing so getting a good 3/5 charge in 30 mins is quite do-able. I’ve downlaoded lots of EV charging apps so should be covered for all eventualities.
