Don’t take this the wrong way, it’s not intended that way, but imo any deal should be done before you order and sign the papers and not after or we’d all be trying it on like, I’ll cancel unless you now include mats, then they agree to that, so then you’d say, ok now i also want a full tank of fuel or i’ll cancel my order..

Now i want X Y and Z. and £200 off or i cancel.. it’s just how car deals work imo.. one could i’m not say you would?? it’s advice..

We all make mistakes sometimes, Just have to learn from them.. and try not to repeat them again..

It’s also called Buyer’s remorse. we all suffer from it from time to time even me..

After the deal it’s not then down to the sales person either it’s down to others like the actual manager to change / auth it..

I got £200 off but i had to spk to the manager as the car in two 1/4’s had risen £600 in AP from when i had the actual test drive..to when i could order in jan..

The average sales guy does not have the power to change an order or offer a discount off his own back.. if he says sorry we cannot, i spoke to the manager. Would you cancel the order??? and order from a different dealer, who would offer it, or even order a different car brand because you didn’t get a deal at the time you ordered that they could offer to someone before, but not right now, to you or anyone and that person didn’t ask until after about….. It would be different if they was doing an offer and didn’t offer you it then..

So they well within there rights to say no, but you can also cancel..

Hopefully they will say this time we’ll do it or something for you, but you need to allow them time to discuss that imo and I dunno how long it’s been with no reply.. but deffo something to think about for the future.. Get the deal before signing and get it in writing.. worst thing you can do is after, to then ask for discounts.. in any sale. which is actually lets re-negionate the deals terms..
