Health wise the answer is defanately no, finance wise the answer is defanately yes. So how do we square this? The number of those under 45-50 dying is relatively small, although it goes without saying that one death is too many. So my idea, of a way out, is to bring the lockdown to an end for everyone under 45-50 who is healthy but keep it in place for everyone else. There would obviously be problems, like in our house, where young and old live together but nothing is perfect. My worry is that the economy can’t take much more of this lockdown without serious consequences and we need a vibrant economy to pay for things like the NHS. There will never be a perfect solution but I think with the increased testing being offered and the contact app only a couple of weeks away the time is right for things to get back to “normal” soon.
I have never been normal
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
