Brilliant, Joss. Rochdale Herald stands out as a Proper Newspaper in a world of toadying national dailies. Wit and humour used to be a part of newspaper publishing; the Guardian used to be particularly good (April Fool’s gag like the survey of the country “Sans Serif”). Particularly liked the Rochdale Wicker Man piece – favourite film!
