Hi Philjb, I have had the car less than 18 mths, but back n forth a number of times with things to get sorted, this latest thing has just recently come to light n I have had a mechanic look at it, but garage I bought it from are not accepting liability as I have asked for replacement car or refund due to, in my opinion they would have known about damage to underneath of car at time of selling to me. They have got Lawgistics involved and they are asking me to prove my case, this is why I am trying to find out if damage was done before garage acquired the car, n this is why I am, on a long shot I know, trying to find out background to car. I had taken advice from consumer advice before contacting garage. I’m just so frustrated, as someone will know what happened to car, just I can’t access this information, n when it comes to trading the car in in future it will be worthless to me.
