Is it the case that a car will come with gadgets you don’t want or need, then you have to pay extra for stuff that seems essential; which invariably includes more stuff you don’t want or need. Why can’t we just buy what we want – and at a realistic price?
Another rip-off is paying extra for items that are optional, but are in fact changes to what they don’t have to provide in the first place.
For example, let’s say £700 for metallic paint. Does it cost that much MORE than the non-metallic paint that they won’t use? Or £1.000 MORE for headlights that will replace the one’s they’re not using? Or £1,200 MORE for leather trim that replaces the seats that don’t get fitted?
