These “packs” that car manufacturer’s try to flog you are just one big con & mainly a German premium car maker’s doing – Mercedes, BMW/MINI, Audi, etc. My last car, a Mini Cooper, had hardly any ‘luxuries’ that many other makers included as standard ; no heated seats, no reversing camera, no satnav, no front or rear sensors – hardly anything. If I wanted any of the above, I would have had to sell a kidney in order to afford them!
My current Toyota C-HR is laden with tech… probably too much if I’m honest. I mean… it even parks itself in a parking bay if you want it to (not that I’ve ever used it once in the 2-years of owning it!!!).
The only “pack” I would ever seriously consider is one that makes me a flat white coffee & two slices of hot toast on the move… and I don’t think such a pack exists… yet.
