Yeah it did seem like fate to be honest! And once my son seen it in orient red he wanted that one.
What happened with VW was I went in ordered the car ( which was in the country at the time ) but we were 9 weeks or so early so I was told the car would be reserved and payed the full ap of £995 because we got a £500 off deal which all vw dealers were doing at the time. After 6 weeks of heard nothing so I rang to ask if I could come see it as it should of been there by now only to be told it had been sold!! And their solution was to take a standard Tiguan r spec on wait another 5-6 month for a replacement. So we went to Mitsubishi and they said they had a red one on its way to the country and it would be ready on the day, and surely enough it was! Even chucked in a set of mats and a rubber boot protector. All in all it was a smooth experience and superb customer service!
