    It’s a shame that the chargers being installed are mostly relatively slow.

    The big roll out from Tesco/VAG using Pod Point are all 7kW chargers so fine if you’re local wanting a quick top up, not so good if you’re low on charge and have a ways to go.  I appreciate that they’re free to use but I would have preferred to have some fast chargers available too, on a pay for basis.  Lidl I believe have chargeable 50kW only.

    As battery capacity increases, 7kW will become snail like.  I’m sure I’ve read something about some Tesla charge points being 350kW! I don’t know what the solution will be for home charging as the limit seems to be 32A 7kW from a normal home supply.  Time will tell!
