i think everyones opinion of what constitutes good condition will vary.
the scheme at the moment i think is very understanding shall we say, compared to commercial lease companies who tend to bill for the slightest blemish.
when i handed my previous car back when i picked up the 3dr mini i have at the moment i was chatting to the motability rep about allsorts in general and the gcb, he then said you should have a look at one that came in yesterday he will still get his gcb as its all removable when we do the valet. and he showed me a vauxhall someone had dropped off to collect a countryman and i wish i had taken photos cos it looked like someone was living in it. imagine the front of the worst builders van youve ever seen with takeaway wrappers etc and it was generally filthy.
there are those who take advantage of anything. but overall i think the scheme are sensible about what they allow and the vast majority do their best to look after their vehicle. so i wouldnt change it to penalise a small minority.
and from what everyones said on here their bits and bobs i would say are fair wear and tear.
