Motability already make lots of money from the disabled, once you factor in the AP and payments for 3 years, the fact they get huge discounts and pay no VAT on the cars and the resale value all adds up to making them billions in profit, why should we be penalised for “fair wear and tear” that any 3 year old car has (I’m not suggesting they allow lots of damage) the odd scuff here and there, stone chips, marks in the boot and rear bumper are to be expected on any car and a bit more when having to use mobility gear every day.
As it is with the current system they make a fortune from us so why should we be suggesting they take even more of our money? I wonder if some of these comments are from Motability staff posting in secret?!
