    While I agree with Oscarmax that metallic paint is not a necessity, it is an standard that most people expect – and something that all other premium manufacturers (e.g. Audi, BMW, Mercedes) offer on their motorbility cars FOC. So for Johnsons to advertise a ‘discounted’ price, only to find out that the price no longer includes features that would be considered a ‘no-cost’ option, significantly diminishes the offer, especially as the cost of adding those features  back on is greater than the discount offered.

    Also, this offer is on the old spec XC40 (MY20) as a way of selling the old stock – I plan to wait for the new model (MY21) to be advertised through the Motorbility scheme as the spec has been improved slightly (and should include metallic paint in the AP)
