How what would be a problem? I’m not sure you’ve read the thread properly. I’m not saying I’m not willing to pay an advance payment therefore I want to keep our current car. I’m saying my plan has changed and I’ll no longer risk paying an advanced payment which I was originally happy to pay if the scheme isn’t potentially going to be useful for my mums and my situation when I could first extend my current lease and see how it goes. It makes more sense for me to do that and if we can’t work out a way of using the car reasonably whilst fitting it around everything else I then don’t have to worry about not getting a refund of the advanced payment back. The same principle applies to finding another brand new car. I wouldn’t want to mess a dealer around when it could be going back shortly after.
if you get a new car and Motability decide to end the lease you’d get most of the AP back less how long you had the car for
Don’t feel like you’d be messing a dealer about because they understand things change
