Thank you Oscar and Delta. Philjb, apparently me living at another address and having other commitments, after my mum explained I went to university, meant that the tracker had to be fitted. I’ve read a few people on forums getting the cars for the first time have them fitted so I think this is a regular occurrence now. If it isn’t something you like the sound of, given one of your nominated drivers isn’t living at home, I’d be wary of upgrading your vehicle. I don’t think the mileage has anything to do with the tracker, more just whether you can use the car in the first place. The tracker would appear to be added even if you live very close by.
