Had a 2.0 auto petrol Mini Countryman for the past 7 weeks and the auto box is better than every manual I have ever driven. It is awesome especially ragging it in sport mode, and very smooth when just round the doors. To be honest the paddle shifters, I find are useless as it can change gear faster and better than manually.
