I’ve had two cars now with Vw DSG boxes and never had a problem with them.
Bri im not sure what auto box is in the xc60 but the 7 speed DSG changes are so quick and smooth plus you can if you want drive in manual mode or sport mode with flappy paddles on the steering wheel, not that I’ve bothered.
In my opinion the 150 bhp diesel Tiguan is best suited to the dsg box and I regularly see over 50mpg on a longer run.
Acceleration is fine and cruising at motorway speeds is relaxed and pretty quiet with just a little wind noise from the large wing mirrors and the larger tyres.
