Matt you make a very good point and, even though i didn’t write the article, it is clear that this distinction should be made. If you have a petrol or diesel car come 2035 you will still be able to drive it as it’s only new ICE cars that will be banned from sale.
I would assume that Q4 in 2034 will be a fire sale of new ICE cars getting rid of them before the deadline.
