I think it’s ok for a dealer to ask for a deposit, especially, if the AP is on the high side, extras or no extras, it shows commitment on behalf of the buyer, as some dealers have had a poor experience from motobility customers, and you then have every right as a private buyer to chase up and put pressure on if the order is taking it’s time, it might help to secure an early build slot. But it’s up to the individual if it’s worth it or not.
