It will change if motability get a fantastic deal on cars above the cap. That must be why the cap was set at 225 for hybrid and EV’s. The new mini hybrid etc must have had something to do with it.
Don’t forget a 225 hp EV is going to be much faster then a 200bhp petrol or diesel so it’s not about keeping speed down it’s price and co2 that matters to business.
