    Whilst our Towns and cities rush to ban polluting vehicles. It seems like they are shooting them selfs in both feet. It is well documented that our Towns and cities are  dying from lack of foot fall. Empty shops and stores and so on. This just seems like a sure way to killing off going into these areas.

    Unless major public transport is put in place first. The logical thing you would think.

    For example my Town of Doncaster. Population some 350.000 and one of the largest boroughs in the country. Under EU funding a dedicated bus corridor was developed. From My village in the far north of Doncaster through to the far south of Doncaster. Park and ride car parks where built at either end. Plus subsidised fares.

    All was good until the funding ran out. Now we are left with 2 unused park and ride facilities.

    Prime example gone to waste.
