If you think about it – a car with a £10k RRP will actually cost £8.3k+VAT (the VAT will be recoverable). Then on top of that, a mass manufacturer like Citroen is probably offering fleet customers a 25%-35% discount.
So that £10k Citroen is probably costing Motability something in the region of £6250+VAT, and they’re probably selling it on after 3 years for circa £5k – £6k if they’re on the forecourt at 3 years old for £7k-£8k.
