I’ve said many times what I think about the Tiguan and I’d agree with Winston, I like it for much the same reasons, the seat hight and driving position is spot on for me.
One small feature i also like that I was pleasantly surprised Vw thought of as I’d had it on previous Audi’s is the passenger door mirror dips when reversing a nice little touch.
Plus having all LED lights that match looks so much nicer then a mix of LED and halogen.
I use the intelligent cruise control a lot and think it’s great if you just want a relaxing drive, it can be frustrating if you really needed to make progress as obviously it keeps a set distance so off it goes.
I know our car has a few more options then standard but I really can’t think of anything safety, tech or gadget wise that’s not on the car I need? Maybe I’d like the boot a bit bigger occasionally.
I can’t believe many people would say they thought they were rubbish, even if the looks don’t suit you.
would I rather have a new Volvo XC60 over it, yes probably but that’s not likely to come back on the scheme.
Saying all that I still would try all the alternative cars on the scheme too before ordering.
