Hmm now that’s a good question, and the honest answer without sounding like Mavis from Corrie is… I don’t really  know?

The first thing that attracted me to the car was the look of it and the size/high driving position etc, I really do love the look – but beauty is in the eye of the beholder

tech wise I guess I like the virtual cockpit and main infotainment screen a lot ,  I never listen to  radio, always Spotify , I went for the dynaudio upgraded speaker system and I like how easy it is to access the music using Apple Car Play, I’ve heard my pals standard sound system and it’s absolutely fine – no issues there

i usually have google maps satellite view on the main infotainment screen and the VW maps on the virtual cockpit ( just cos it looks nice ) and it’s a breeze to use

I couldn’t live without a reverse camera and this has 4 including a virtual 5th area view cam

they can get dirty and muddy in the rain and bed weather and can be rendered a bit useless , but it actually has a scoosher you can jet on the main reverse cam when you’re in reverse which is really handy to clean it! Also  with having 20 inch diamond cut alloys and a nice paint job it’s a good thing to have , comes standard so all good

I’ve heard a lot of people who love the Adaptive Cruise Control but to be honest I’ve used it once in 6 months lol

but I don’t do that many miles or commute to work on the same old motorways , if I go further afield in the warmer weather I’ll give it a bash

the lights are pretty advanced , the same Matrix  ones that’s usually an upgrade in a good Audi , they work a treat!

Things to get used to, well for me coming from 4wd drive cars , i was surprised how much wheel spin and torque steer you can get

so if you’re at a junction, roundabout or on a hill and u want away in hurry you have to take that into account

again that’s not a fault , it’s just me getting used to a little less traction at initial acceleration/pulling away and adjusting my driving style

but don’t worry I’ve been up to the highlands with it in lousy weather and there is absolutely no drama being 2wd

The lane assist function can feel weird at times, ( I actually like ) I always indicate and moan at people who don’t but if you go to change lane without indicating and the camera is reading the lane makrkings in front of you it will offer some resistance on the steering wheel and try to steer you into ( what it perceives as the right lane ) it’s a good safety feature and if you apply a little more force then you’ll overrule it

you can disable it on the main infotainment screen, but as it’s a safety feature you would need to turn it off every time you start a journey,

its not a Tesla though so I wouldn’t take your knitting with you if you’re thinking it could drive itself while you knit a new jumper Brydo lol

The tinted windows for me are far too light , 65% tint of I remember right , especially with the light coming through the pano roof

so it’s booked in to get the rears tinted in a couple of weeks time

it’s not that it’s over bright inside , I just like a bit more privacy for me and my dog , plus it’ll make look a bit nicer ??

It’s not perfect but nothing in life is, i wish it had 4 rings on the front rather than a VW badge ?? but I made the right choice for me and that’s all that matters to me, it’s a great big comfy car , does everything I need it to do, I love the looks all the creature comforts and security it provides me and my dog

a good friend got one a couple of months back and she loves it, her friends love and her neighbours love it

to finish up I would find it hard to imagine a scenario where someone would seriously regret their decision in ordering one and that’s the truth
