But you have to take into consideration cost over 3 years Insurance (£350 x 3 = £1050), tyre (20,000 I set of tyres £400), maintenance ( 3 x service £600), breakdown cover ( blue badge cover 3 x £600) and possible insurance (£500) In case of major failure? estimate based on 20,000 over 3 years £3150, 60,000 over 3 years £4550 and that does not include depreciation an finding the funds to finance your vehicle.

My car has had  one service at 12 months/13,000 miles that was an oil change, it doesn’t get anything else until it goes back(£200), only the front tyres need replacing on a fwd car as the rears hardly wear(£200 a pair), I got breakdown cover for the other half for £70 a year for full home start and recovery(£210), as for blue badge cover I would never bother with that as every time I have broken down with motability’s cover they have taken hours to arrive and longer to fix or recover.

I also would never pay for (possible insurance (£500) In case of major failure?) I assume some kind of warranty? they never cover what breaks and always find a way out of paying even if covered, save the money to go towards possible repairs(if the car is nearly new and well maintained it should be rare).

    Estimate on 20k/3 years, £1,660, 60k/3 years, £2,060.

That is the other end of the scale, there will always be the odd thing that needs doing and some extra towards maintenance but not 2 & a half grand.

It would be just the same as it was when I was doing this before I joined the scheme, back then it was way better value but now I can settle for an older car that has some trade-in value at the end of 3 years.
