I want to love EV’s. I’d have one at the drop of a hat….. if I thought it wasn’t going to be painful.
In mid and North Wales, there are only a handful of public charge points and from what I’ve read, there are varying sockets so a lottery to know if you’ll be able to charge.
Another real niggle for me is the fact that every charge point I’ve seen (pictures!) have been uncovered. How many uncovered fuel stations do you know of. EV owners are going to be constantly soggy.
Undoubtedly I will have one at some point, I hope, but not yet.
I’ll say it again. Common, replacement batteries is the answer where you drive in to a fuel station and they replace the batteries. It is possible, it’s just that the manufacturers have gone down a particular road(!) that has terrible logistics. In my opinion that is. ?
